Florida Police Reportedly Unwilling To Work Beyonce Concert After Formation

Beyonce's latest song, "Formation", has caused a lot of conversation since she dropped it with no warning at the start of February. While many considered the tune a "pro-black" anthem for its mention of Afros and wide noses, others considered it "anti-police" for reason, including its display at #Superbowl50. Now, it looks like the #FormationTour is the target of the latest heat.
The tour is set to kickoff in Miami on April 27, and the 2nd show of the American leg is set to take place in Tampa two days later. The problem is that Tampa police are seemingly unwilling to partake in the festivities FOX13 reports.
"Typically, officers who are off-duty agree to work concerts and sporting events at the venue for extra income, but none have signed up to work security for Beyonce’s upcoming concert on April 29 at Raymond James Stadium," FOX13 said of the news.
With the concert expected to be a sold out show, it is reported that not having officers in uniforms could serve as a great safety risk.
